New Age College Of Education Profile
New Age college of Education, Phinter (Billawar) Dist. Kathua is situated at a distance of about 115 Kilometers from University of the Jammu and about 70 Kilometers from Kathua Bus stand. The College has started its functioning in 2002 under the aegis of New Education Trust, Patel Nagar, Kathua. The College is affiliated to the University Jammu and RECOGNIZED BY THE Government of J&K. Site of the College is judicially selected keeping in view the present need of pollution free environ- ment. The college has its own building and about 60 kanal of lush green campus area catering the need of students. The College is situated among the hillocks of Shivalik hills of Himalayan range that do not add additional beauty to the College but also a sources of beacon light for 120 Students under able guidance of prof. R. C. Bhagat, Principal of the college who created a platform for training of future nation builders With secular and progressive ideology, passion for teaching and learning. He was fol- lowed by Prof. Ranjna Vaid, Prof. Saroup Chand, Prof. Amita Bhatnagar, Prof. Naresh Sharma and Prof. Anju Verma Whose Contribution make the college upgrade. Gradually college intake capacity has been increased from time to time. Now at present intake capacity of the college are 100 students for the academic Session 2024-25.
The college has its own quality policy, Mission, Vision, Objectives and 15 Qualified staff members who fulfill the need of students. To impart the quality Education College established IQAC,Eco-Club, Redresser cell, Audiovisual Activity Room, Cultural Activity club, Science club, Alumni Association etc.

environment in the college premises. The college has been imparts Quality Training to the B.Ed.
